N4 and N5 are different leveled qualifications. You don't need anything in N4 to pass or achieve a grade in N5. So don't worry, you're fine.
It's likely your teacher was giving you N4 work to do in the unlikely scenario you failed your exam, guaranteeing you'd get a N4 instead. If in the likely scenario you do pass, you wouldn't be given the N4 anyway.
