transfer unis after second year

I want to transfer to a different university after my second year, what should I do?

Start by reading this FAQ thread: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1781424, then email the universities you want to apply and ask if they accept transfer students into the third year (most places won't, so don't be disappointed if they say no). If they say yes then they will want to see a list of your modules so they can determine whether you've covered the same subject material as their students, so it might be a good idea to do some preliminary research to find degrees with similar course structures to your own.

Alternatively, consider a top-up degree. What subject do you want to study?

thanks a lot, now I know the basic steps and I am currently learning Mathematics, I wonder is that very impossible for me to transfer straight to third year instead of re-do second year?
