Medicine Wider reading recommendations before university...

I am currently in Year 12 and am looking for books to read to get more of an insight into Medicine. Has anyone got any good recommendations. Would appreciate it! Perhaps something that would be an interesting interview topic???

Wolfram Alpha

Complications by Atul Gawande. It's an excellent book, both informative and engaging, I would highly recommend reading it.
Also, Medical Ethics: A Very Short Introduction by Tony Hope which is also a very good book especially for ethical scenarios that you'll inevitably be faced with in an interview.
