Medicine at Manchester 2017 AAB

With the new a levels being as unpredictable as they are I was wondering about getting into medicine with AAB. I've firmed Manchester and read on their site that applicants with "exceptional interviews" can still be accepted despite not getting AAA. I was wondering if anyone has anymore info on this and also if there's anyway of knowing if you're one of these "exceptional " people ?
If they've given you an offer with lower than standard grades then it could mean you did really well in the interview. Or it could also mean you did better than others that did not do so well. You can try asking them or just wait till you start medical school and ask them then. Either way, well done for getting in with AAB.
All the best!
