I know of 3 people that have taken international studies- 2 are in final year and the one that has finished has gone to work for the UN- so don't see any problems with the course at all- should be interesting and you make your own career prospects- so get out there and learn another language- it will help you....

thats what i was worried about i have a place for politics and international studies in warwick and i want to change to history and politics iam worried this might not be possible as they will just tell me to 'get lost' and i dont want to ring them before i go as they might say no and have no chance of trying to change when i get there. Should i ring them beofre i go or when i get there.

changing to history wont make much, if any difference to your employment prospects. do whatever you are most interested in/ feel you will do best in.
