Surely that shouldn't be so insulting, considering that being gay is fine and not a bad thing.

Not really worth getting upset about. I'd like to see the mosque focusing on more important matters like dawah

The people who held the signs weren't even Muslims, they were apostates so it's not something the mosque should be lecturing them on. If they were Muslims then I'd understand why the mosque felt they should stop doing that since it's against Islam to insult Allah but if they're not Muslim who cares

If you can't deal with criticism/joking about your religion, you obviously are aware that it's flawed enough that they could prove you wrong about it.

The LGBT community owes nothing to Islam because it is the ideology of Islam that is strongly against LGBT lifestyle. Maybe it is the mosque who should be apologising for brainwashing their followers with the idea that LGBT is wrong.

Perhaps the mosque could be addressing more important things like terrorism instead of rubbish like this, in getting tired of certain Muslims getting upset about little things others have done and not looking at all the sins that they've committed themselves

If you're getting tired, go to sleep.

Mosques need to stop caring about useless stuff like this, the whole point of what they were trying to is to stir up anger among Muslims, don't let them succeed

Every other religion endures this because we have free speech, the Mosque needs to accept that, sit down and shut up.

Doesn't the mosque also have the right to free speech? The right to ask for an apology

They demanded, didn't ask. They're attempting to shutdown free speech.

It has nothing to do with 'gay' being right or wrong in Islam. The problem here is assuming Allah has a sexuality. Muslims believe Allah is divine and has no romantic partners or any partners for that matter. Nor does he have any children or relations. Any claims to associate such attributes is disrespectful in all senses. Whether you assume he is straight or gay.So it has nothing to do with targeting the LGTB community for who they are

they do it by purpose to trigger a response from the muslims and then blame it all on the muslims.

Religious individuals claims their faith is so strong it can preform miracles and move mountains, but apparently not strong enough to withstand a written sign.

It's almost as these religions are entirely fictional and not based on the sensibilities of any omnipotent being, but those of primitive, desert tribes. Shocking.

There would be zero outrage if someone said "Allah is straight". It's everything to do with homosexuality being wrong in Islam.

yes there will. It explicitely states in the Qur'an that Allah is not to be associated with any partners or relations. If not outrage, muslims will still have opposition to it or atleast would want it taken down.

LGTB can do whatever they want, muslims don't care. So long as they don't bring religious Gods into it. Especially when they're put into context that they are not meant to be in. You can't expect to do that and not have any response. That's just asking for trouble.

It's not just muslims. Any religious group is unlikely to let such a matter go when their God is directly bought into the matter. Not even religious teachings.

Did you even bother to read and understand what that message was saying? Sexuality implies that Allah (swt) has romantic partners, when Allah (swt) himself revealed he has no partners in the Qu'ran. How would you know if there would be "zero outrage"? If someone said "Allah is straight". There would be no outrage of LGBT people being offended that Muslims are offended that a person said that Allah (swt) has straight sexuality. Does that make sense? The only reason why LGBT people are making a big deal about this, is that they are taking this personally and projecting the deep grudges they hold against Islam.
