    Does it make any difference if you do voluntary work in a private elderly care home? I mean one closest to my house is for only privately financed elderly. No Council finance. Thanks.

    No it doesn't matter - you don't mention the name of the place or if it's public/private etc. in the statement or at interview. The most important thing is reflecting on what you've seen, and on what you've been doing - and linking these to what you've seen doctors do on your work experience.
