I'd recommend starting no later than April. But it's better if you revise from the start of the year.

Haha, aye.. I did alright too, got good enough grades to go to college and I'm now on a master's so it didn't hurt me in the long run. I was just too busy being a teenager and having fun to care about my GCSEs seriously.

I was too busy playing those video games. I held off on buying Overwatch and Persona 4 until I finished though
but as soon as I got home from the last exam I bought both immediately

It was hyperbole but basically crammed all my revision into like a month.

I slacked during year 10 so I began revising content in October, for my mocks which were in December (I revised during the half term, too). I took a break and continued revising content in February, however I began serious revision (past papers) one month before my exams.

The only reason why I began revising so early was because I didn't know anything, but if you've worked hard during year 10 and can remember everything you've learnt, then you could begin serious revision maybe a month or two before your exams. (Btw I did my GCSEs this year so I can't say this worked for me until results day!)

I started revising for 23 exams in May, literally two weeks before they started, and I seriously regret it now. I ended up with OK grades but I'm greatly disappointed with them (1 A*, 4As, 6Bs and a C), and I know had I worked harder, I could have easily gotten at least 6As, and I could have so easily gotten another 2A*s (I was 2 UMS off an A* in both subjects I got an A in, which is why I kick myself everyday. Had I revised - I'd have had two more A*s to show for it....) If you want my recommendation, I'd say start revising in January, but you could easily start in February, even March. April at a push, but I'd say start early and get ahead of the game. I seriously regret not getting ahead of the game.

Well, it's 2 numbers, (with an 8 being the bottom end, and a 9 the top end). However, they have mentioned that they have left open a space for a "Grade 10", which could be even above an A*. I can't really remember when and where they said it though :/

What do you think about it? I thought it was a bit bland, to be honest :/
