    I've received offers for Combined Honours in Social Sciences (with my subjects being History and Politics) at Durham and History and Politics at Warwick and have put these courses as my firm and insurance choices. However, I'm starting to edge towards wanting to do a straight Politics degree instead. Would it be best to contact the universities about a course transfer before results day or waiting until my place at one of the universities is confirmed (provided I get the grades)?

    You can make an enquiry to feel out an answer. You could jeep it general to wanting to switch from a joint to a single honours.
