I have the next 7 weeks off until I go back to uni but I'm poor as hell so while everyone is holidaying I'm here in the UK. I pretty much have no close friends. I don't have a job (too much alongside my degree) and there's no way I'll get one, do the training and start within the time I have off and I'd only quit in term time anyhow.

I have a very small budget. I don't like being bored as I get depressed. What do I do for 7 weeks?

    PRISON break.
    The walking dead.
    The list goes on..

You could do seasonal work, like festivals or other places that do summer events. There are quite a lot, but obviously it depends on where you live. Other than that there are jobs in cafes and the like that would be used to a fast turnover. Or even something like tutoring or pet sitting where you just work when you want.

You could learn a skill that you would like, or would help you progress in your career. Something like programming, languages, writing etc.

Or as a mix between the two you could contact people and ask for work experience, or volunteer somewhere.

Do you have any personal goals you could work towards?
