The Student Room Group

Community building activities

Hello!
I have an interview for a job where I will be required to organise an engaging 30 minute Community Builder activity for three to four inclusion students focusing on self-esteem. The students are of relatively low ability and can frequently become disengaged during lessons. We would expect the chosen activity to demonstrate progress and a clear outcome(s) to be delivered at the end of the activity. Then have to write parental report that focuses on summarising clearly the students’ progress and stating, equally clearly, areas in which the students could develop further.

Does anyone have any ideas?! The focus on self esteem and the clear outcome has totally thrown me 😕
