    Hi.

I'm going to be applying for Economics at university, but I've never done it before. What can I do to convince unis to take me into their course?

    I've done some taster days/courses.
I've entered a few essay competitions.

    Thankss.

    Read economics blogs.
Research the details of the course content for the universities you're considering and the research that their academic staff are involved in.
Take some MOOCs (free online modules) with futurelearn or edx
