Applying to university is so much more confusing if you took a btec. While some university's will have some sort of common sense and put the grades required other do not. You just get it in A level standard, for example ABB. I'm about to do another year at college (yeah lets not try to think about sitting through another year of that ****) I'm going to be doing a 90 credit diploma. Does that just mean I'll get 90 credits at the end of the course? Or is that up to 90 credits if I get like DD? I'm a bit confused but I wasn't really thinking of university when I applied for it. I looked on the UCAS tariff calculator and I put in 90 credit diploma and it said 84 credits with D*D*. To me that doesn't make sense as it's a 90 credit course but you only get 84? Can someone explain to me what the **** I've applied to do at college?

Yes that will give you 84 ucas points if you get D*D*, depending what you want to do you might need to do a foundation year before a degree
