I am starting comp sci gcse next year and i was wondering what laptop would be suitable to use outside of lessons for coding python, hmwk ect. I am looking for something in a mid to low price range aswell

Just get any laptop because you're not doing anything crazy on it.

Hi! I'm also starting GCSE Computer Science in September on OCR. I have found a good laptop here: http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computi...46128-pdt.html

It is just under £400, so it may be a little expensive, depending on finances. However there are cheaper laptops on Currys PC World which may suit you better. Just to mention, I have a Lenovo Yoga 510 with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of Storage, Intel i7 and AMD Radeon R5 M430 Graphics, however this is currently £899, and I did use all my birthday and Christmas money. I went a bit overkill, but it will last a while.

Effectively, you have two choices. Invest in a more high end expensive laptop that will last longer and give faster performance or get a cheaper laptop that may not last as long and may have worse performance

You could get a PC from 1997 that can run Python
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
