Whichever you think you'll enjoy studying more.

LLB would allow you to study law more widely than just the compulsory subjects. On the other hand GDL means you'd have been able to study a totally different subject at degree level.

Is there another subject you fancy studying at undergraduate level?

It really doesn't matter. Many firms recruit about 50% non law graduates.

LLB because you save a year. Simple as that.

Yes but the GDL route will cost more and cause a delay

Yes - but if you want to study a non-law degree and think you will do well in it, it's probably worth it long term. I'd rather go to uni and do a subject I enjoyed rather doing a degree I wasn't passionate about for three/four years just to save myself a year.

Plus there's always sponsorship/scholarships for the GDL in some cases.
