    They'd probably look to see if there's an underlying reason for the baldness or whether it's genetic.

    If it is genetic there isn't a huge amount that they can do. You could take some vitamins to stimulate hair growth, but that only works on live follicles so if you have lost hair already and have bald patches with no follicles it will not grow back.
