    I was really short most of life tbh, the 'short guy' was like half of who I was lol. Was always very upset about my height, one main reason (of many) being a disadvantage at sports (which turns out to be meaningless now anyway). But for some reason I grew a lot when I was like 16 and probably am still growing, haven't actually measured myself in ages but I'm proud to say that I'm no longer by any reasonable measures 'short', probably like 5ft11 or something. That's one of the only good things that transpired in the last few years.

    Thing is I'm still significantly shorter than almost every single guy I know. But then I mainly know guys from the same generation, of course, which has a greater average height (probably more like 5'11-6'0 than 5-9-5'10). So it's pretty hard to tell.
    edit: And most of them do maths, and intelligence is positively correlated with height..
    Really don't think this supposedly positive correlation means anything though. I think you make a bigger deal of your height than you need to. I mean, you don't look bad at all. You could just be tall and straight up ugly, which would be far worse.
