Remember, whatever is putting you down right now, is a part of something greater, and will be a pivotal step towards your future success, think of whatever bad as not painful and sad. Think of that pain as a step, those steps that will slowly build up and make you a stronger, better individual.

i copped this from several motivational videos so it must be correct right

Recently someone gave me the advice of "you are in control of how you feel". And at first, I brushed it off because it just made me feel worse - as though it was suggesting that I had literally chosen to feel bad. But then I spent the last 2 weeks doing things that made me feel good, and my outlook started to change. I've been listening to an audiobook called 'You Are A Badass', which is basically a bit like a pep-talk with added tips about living in the present and making the most of YOU. I've also vented to friends more, when I used to just bottle things up. Sometimes we bottle things up without realising, as we are socialised to believe that negative emotions are BAD and something to be ignored and pushed away. It's only when we acknowledge them, like, "yeah, I'm feeling really **** at the moment" that we can move on from them and make change happen.

Do some things that make you happy  I'm sure you'll feel better soon, and it's always a good thing to figure out ways in which you can feel content in yourself as a person long-term.

My sister was thr only member of my family i had to support me, she committed suicide. You're asking me to think about it as a pain as a step. Tell me how now i've no clue.

Apologies if that came across as insensitive, I didn't know the exact situation.

A few of my close friends have departed in the past where I was from, so I'm acquainted to this pain. One way I perceived this as was,

They were characters who helped me (you) in my (your) life. And they wanted to make you feel happy, so by remaining headstrong, you're essentially continuing their legacy, this would be what they would've wanted.

Of course I completely understand if you're grieving, we all must grieve, it's a part of life. But you must remain head strong and continue their great legacy.

Again sorry for your loss
My sis :console: :hugs:
