Hi, Im quite new to this studentroom website and from what i have found, most people say that bringing a laptop to university is better than bringing your full gaming PC set up in. I know that there are a lot of conversation about this here and also in youtube but i just cant make up my mind.
The reason i want to bring my Gaming PC or buying a Gaming laptop is because im a gamer dude xD . i like playing games for entertainment, watching movies, editing videos, music and also do a little bit of coding. Not only that, i also wanted to do work in my dorm when the library is full.
My university is starting in September and i have plenty of time to think about this. So i just want your opinion, is it worth bringing my Gaming PC to uni or should i get a gaming laptop??
.
.
.
.
I know both of those will be a distraction to my education and my social life but for my entertainment only (when i got board) and for education, ill try to be more social . Or should i just leave the gaming life and grow up ,_,

because i heard its just going to be a distraction ... So if i get a gaming Laptop, it will be less as i cant play most of the high end games, which makes me board and hopefully stop me for playing games and be more social ... but some people said it stupid but i think its a good idea. but i might end up selling it so i can buy a gaming laptop.. but im not so sure now xD

I played games till 2am during periods of little work, didn't distract me when I needed to work. Not being able to play high end games doesn't make you play less because you'll still find stuff to play.

stop being a lazy c*nt. Jk mate

Just take your desktop. Don't waste money on a sh*tty ass laptop. You don't be doing much gaming tbh if you want to socialise. My sister was a fairly big pc gamer but literally gave up after 1 month.

Yes. Put the channel on 666 and a vortex will open. Say your destination and you throw yourself and your stuff inside the vortex.

You could just just go micro ATX and get like a node or something. It would be a lot easier to transport.

It's not a case of what your laptop can play, it's the fact that it's a laptop 😂

You're going to kill me for this but I switched from pc to ps4 because i only wanted to play a select few games were available on console anyway. I didn't really want to play any PC exclusive games anymore, dota 2 just got boring.

chose a console because it was cheap (250 for the cnsole, 4 games, a controller and a headset) and i knew i would get bored of gaming in the next year or so.
