So basically I've been nominated for a principals commendation (you get one if you've been nominated) and later today I have to meet the principal and collect it.

I have autism (bad at social situations) and suffer really bad from anxiety so I have no clue what to say when I'm there and it's getting me anxious. Any ideas?

Do you have to give a speech? I doubt you have to say anything but thank you.
They might ask a few polite questions, just listen and give a reasonably intelligible answer.

You would know more if you found out about what happens and why you were nominated.

I dont think I would be worried though, just answer his polite questions if they say anything, smile if you can and say thank you. They will know about your autism so if you just do the smile and thank you they will be fine with you.
