So I 'admired' this girl at sixth form for a while, but only today managed to pluck up the confidence and get the balls to talk to her. So we talked for the remainder of the study period and seemed to get on. However there is only two/three days left of sixth form before we break up for the summer. I feel awfully stupid for leaving it so late but hey ho.

    so.....

How can I get to know her and become friends with her (perhaps even go out!) when I'm inept on social media and don't really socialise with new people that much anymore

plus I don't know if i'll make it into year 13 and can't resit at the same school ...........

It's the same as making friends with a guy. In the next 3 days you should approach her and just engage in conversation. Perhaps ask for a number on the last day.

Offer her some food first, get conversation going. Talk about plans after school etc add her on facebook/follow her on instagram but do it subtly like "oh have I got you on facebook?"

Just like with any other person really.
Just say some thing like "can I have your number so we can keep in touch during the summer?"

weird how guys and girls suddenly get confident enough to talk to classmates they've been admiring all year. i've had 2 girls throughout my time in schools tell me they liked me on the last day. it's like, what's the point? we're never going to see each other again now.
