Erection Problems?

I cannot/immensely struggle to get an erection by pure imagination or looking at a woman. Usually I have to physically stimulate downstairs to get one and never get spontaneous erections. I don't necessarily feel like I have a high libido. If I watch porn however, I can seem to get an erection without stimulation/even before I actually view something and maintain it. I intend to quit this addiction in hope that perhaps my erections can be stimulated from just imagination. I'm 19 years of age.

Is the above normal? If not, how can I fix this and what may be the cause of this problem? I may see a GP but thought would like to see the effect that quitting porn and faping less frequently may have.

You may have porn induced erectile dysfunction. In this case you need tp break the bond between porn and masturbation and try to let your brain recover.
Go on fight the new drug, it'll help clear things out.

I mean, i can get an erection from looking at a picture of a hot actress/model but not spontaneously or anything, like I have to be in the mind set of "i'm about to have a ****". I've not tried just using my imagination but I can imagine (no pun intended) it'd be harder (sorry, that pun was sooooo intended) than say watching porn. I've also never really popped an erection walking past a hot girl on the street. But when I wanna have a ****, getting an erection has never been difficult for me. Personally, what you're saying sounds fairly normal assuming my own experiences are normal but if you're really worried go see a GP. I'm also a similar age to you btw (i'm 18).
Out of curiosity, has this problem persisted into the bedroom when you're about to have sex? If so then that's needs to be dealt with but could be as simple as being nervous/stressed. If not then again, as far as I can tell there's really no problem at all.

Needing physical stimulation is normal - getting an erection every time you see a woman is somewhat overrated...

The difference with porn is that you know you're going to get an outcome. I can see why that would lead to an anticipation erection.

So long as you can get one without porn, using physical stimulation if necessary, I wouldn't worry.

I'm guessing that you're not having partner sex at the moment. When you do, once you stop being nervous, you will probably find that the additional effect of having a willing partner will help with the erections.

Hi , I can easily get a boner , but don’t feel any urge to my penis when I get one. I do get horny , like last week I was very horny nearly every day but now I can’t get horny , and it’s been a week since I last masturbated. I’m 16 and surely I should be getting horny every day?
