As far as I'm aware, GNVQ's are only equivalent to GCSEs, and google seems to agree with me. So no, it wouldn't be good enough for uni entry. However, they were withdrawn a few years ago, so if you're studying it now are you sure you got the right qualification name?

I thought (when they were actually going) that an Intermediate GNVQ was equivalent to GCSE, and an Advanced GNVQ was equivalent to A level.

OP - your best bet is probably to do some research of your own - look into the courses you want to do, at the universities you quite like the look of, and see if they will accept your qualification. Good luck! :smile:

AAT NVQ fast track levels 2&3 is worth 160 UCAS points
i think at some universities they recognise these points now (oxford brookes)
but UCAS is only offficially recognising them next year
if youre on ucas.com then find the page with all the points tariffs and it is at the bottom.
