I have just finished my GCSEs and am still hung up on what to do after. I was wondering If you can do a 1 year apprenticeship then go onto 2 years of a levels.

    thanks

Possibly, but I would check with local colleges and sixth forms to see if they will take you into year 12 at 17. A levels are becoming increasingly hard to find as they prefer to offer BTEC and access courses. You should be ok at 17 , but check. This is even moreso in the case of sciences.

Yes you can, I had a friend who has done this, he did a software engineering apprenticeship in London for 12 months before applying to college and he finished Sixth form college at the age of 19.

So yes you can but I would still enquire with the college/sixth form just in case.

    I agree.
Why do you want to an apprenticeship first then a-levels after anyway?
