    In my access course, the mathematical component in Sociology did not exceed the basics of statistics if I remember correctly. I imagine it's somewhat more challenging at degree level. Could someone with potential dyscalculia handle it?

    You hardly need to know any statistics/maths; it's mostly all qualitative data you handle.
