Can I change my degree but still go to my first choice uni

My first choice uni allowed me to do that, although that may be because the degree was still part of the same department.

It can't hurt to email them and check though, can it?

It entirely depends on the university.

Firstly, I assume you meet (or expect to) the entry requirements for the other course... if so contact the university and ask if you can change course.

They might say yes, they might not.

It won't affect your current offer if you ask...
