Get a summer job, either in a restaurant or a high street shop and earn some pocket money.

Learn something new, pick up a hobby.

I'm (re)learning Java at the moment after years of sticking with Python.

I wanna learn how to code as well. I don't know where to start. Do you use online resources or...?

When I first picked up programming, I used a guy called thenewboston on YouTube. However, if you are completely new to Computer Science, I highly recommend that you look into a Harvard online course by Prof. Malan called CS50x ( https://www.edx.org/course/introduct...harvardx-cs50x ). It explains key concepts in an easy to understand manner, teaches how to program, and I also think it had a lecture on Machine Learning too.

I am more or less completely new except very little Python experience that I hardly remember. Thank you.

I learnt entirely with online resources years ago, so it's entirely possible. Start with Python. The official tutorial https://docs.python.org/3/tutorial/index.html is pretty good but just look around. There's also https://www.learnpython.org/ and a Codecademy course - https://www.codecademy.com/learn/python

It is not a hard language but programming is hard because it requires a specific logical mindset. This should probably keep you occupied all summer if you've never really done programming. Just start making simple things then move up in complexity. If you want to get lower level, then try Java or C# - they will both be more complex. C++ and especially C may be very difficult languages to grasp but if you're a wizard then give them a go.

Also Google things when you reach a problem, often the error messages that the compiler spits out are very unhelpful and its about deciphering what it really means

Oh yeah I'm studying all summer lol

Edit: doing research ("wider reading" amirite guys), programming things, trying to learn a language (FRENCH) that kind of thing basically
Double Edit: Also I want to write songs but I'll probably just end up playing CS:GO or something
