What are the graduate prospects like for studying Social Policy with Government from LSE? I have an offer and I am waiting for results day, but, I've been researching a lot into future careers that I am interested in and was wondering if investment banks and/or consultancy firms are out of reach because of my course?

I am not an expert in any of this so advice would be great!

    Thanks.

Depends on what kind of consultancy role and also what kind of job within an investment bank.

But generally, no, you won't have any issues. Your main issue will be developing your CV/application with work experience and extra curriculars to show your skills/motivation for the career.

Maybe investor relations/services or risk management? I am just not too sure atm, although, I don't think it will be anything in FO

You are studying at a highly targeted uni and applying to jobs that generally don't have a subject requirement.

As long as you focus your career motivation and can explain why that role/why that company, plus have a strong CV elsewhere outside of your degree subject, you should be fine.
