    You have hit the nail on the head. The purpose of a state school is to train you to be a slave. Private schools are businesses, i.e. exist to make money.

    School is there for the taking. You get out only what you put in. I guess you didn't put much in and therefore didn't get much out. What makes you think that doing something else would have been more productive? All I can think of is work, but these days, learning a single trade from the age of 14 doesn't really cut it in today's multi-skilled world.
