Hi all. I'm undertaking the Warwick CIM MA in Digital Media and Culture, and I'm desperate to pioneer more interdisciplinary working at Warwick.

I'm going to propose a STEAM society (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths - not the game engine, sorry 😔)

The focus would be on trips to FabLab in cov, art and tech hackathons, panels/talks from VR pioneers and researchers from places like Nottingham uni's Mixed Reality Laboratory, digital art exhibitions etc.

I don't think I'll struggle to get the signatures needed (I started a society at my undergraduate uni...students will sign anything...), but obviously I'd need the necessary exec posts filled.

Do you think I could do it? Am I the only person at Warwick obsessed with Art and Tech or are there others out there? If so I've no idea how to reach them! (other than on the few facebook groups I've been spamming - sorry....)
