Radiography

Hey everyone,
What do you guys think about radiography, not only the course but also the job?
Whatever you know, tell me!!
Apparently it's an easy course but I think I'll enjoy it, predicted A's and A* at A level but you only need B's

I have a family member who is a radiographer. The course was quite tough as it required a lot of on-the-job training. It's not a great course for partying on if that's what you want to do!

Family member had a good pass, but found the course labour intensive and hard to balance working and essays.

Now working as a radiographer, there's not a lot of roles out there so it is competitive and the working hours are long and involve working with the public so it can be dangerous/difficult/unpleasant.
Working in surgery can be quite gory and unsettling and I know that they have seen things that they wished they hadn't. That said they are very professional but I couldn't do it!!

There are courses you can do once you have qualified to specialise your expertise. Family member about to study mammography.

Its not an easy course. Its quite physically and emotionally demanding. You'll be expected to work nightshifts and there will be clinical placements you'll need to do which are graded.
