Hi! I'm going to start my studies at Warwick this October (Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry).

Can someone give me an advice on looking for a part time job?

    Thanks

    Hello!

Warwick has quite a lot of places where you might find work to support your studies - you can work at the SU by checking the Jobs page on the SU website, you can work at various outlets around the campus, like the coffee shops/cafes/bookshops, you could find work at the Arts Centre or you could use Unitemps which is a website that has a Warwick branch too.

There are also loads of local opportunities if you are interested in working in Leamington Spa or Coventry, only a bus ride away. There are usually lots of jobs going around the area perfect for students.

Be careful with getting straight into a job - in my first year, I worked from the first weekend at Uni, and ended up regretting it because I was missing out on time socialising with and getting to know my flatmates. I would say give it a couple of weeks, and then start looking. There really are loads of opportunities for work so you will definitely find something!
