    Hi everyone.

I was wondering what young people think the government should do in terms of Brexit in order to benefit the UK economy, in terms of trade.

NO DEAL (if we don’t get everything that we are looking for.)
DEAL (Even if we don’t get everything that we want.)
World Trade Organization Option (if the UK fails to make a deal. ‘Failing back’ on the WTO involves trading solely under rules set by the World Trade Organisation (WTO), which govern things like tariffs and quotas.)

Please don’t forgot to vote and write down that you think the UK government should do.

Please Share so we can get a good idea of what young people think.

Considering the changes in public opinion and incompetent government, how about another referendum- this time requiring a super majority in order to leave. Such a large decision should not have depended on a margin of a couple %

I believe the WTO option is the absolute best way forward.

    No to the following:-
    1) Any rights for EU citizens in any way shape or form. Especially in terms of healthcare, education or social welfare.
    2) All EU nationals that entered 5 years before the referendum to be deported unless they have very strong ties to the UK.
    3) Free movement of goods and services as it is now.
    4) ECJ or ECHR.

    Yes to the following:-
    1) 7% VAT
    2) 15% Corporate Tax.
    3) Tit-for-tat trade barriers with the EU.
    4) Export tax-credits.
    5) EU students to be charged overseas rates of tuition fees.
    6) Point-based work permits and residency system.
    7) Abolish work time regulation and all other infringing and inconvenient rules from the EU.
    8) Cheapest alcohol prices in all of Europe.

There was a super majority. 498 MPs voted in favour of triggering article 50 and 114 against, that's a 4:1 ratio.

As for the referendum, running another would set an awful precedent.

Also, what changes in public opinion? The majority of the public back Brexit happening.

You can't hold a referendum, lose it, and then decide to run it again but this time give it an entirely arbitrary figure for the required majority. That's just rigging it in your side's favour.

Tell me, where was the supermajority referendum on the Maastricht treaty or the Lisbon treaty?
