    Hi, I recently graduated.

Law is a fascinating subject, and if you love a challenge and love deconstructing complex principles/arguments it is the perfect subject to take. You get a lot of free time on a law degree, compared to other degrees, which is best suited for those who are good at managing their time.

If you prefer a more rigid structure throughout your degree, then law will not be for you. You are required to do a lot of reading in your own time, and you will struggle to do well without organising your day to accommodate this. Law is also an essay based subject requiring clarity of thought and coherency in developing an argument, if this is something you struggle with then law will not be for you.

Law is quite technical and it can be very dry, but that is a source of enjoyment eventually. There is satisfaction in knowing things which few others could even hope to understand.
