I'm currently looking for work after having graduated about two years ago, and while I am trying my utmost hardest I am not getting very far.

I get calls back from recruiters, but I'm too scared to answer phon (mental health related)

I spend literally everyday applying for jobs, and every day off I have (outside my current day job) applying for work in my field of qualification.

I'm also looking into other fields such as admin roles too, and learning development but nowadays i don't have motivation for that.

I have no hobbies outside of work, and I guess I just around, drink beer, scan LinkedIn. Look on Reed, Indeed, and TotalJobs and apply for jobs, only to hear nothing back.

How can I keep my motivation without feeling burned out?

Currently sat in my living room bored drinking myself out of boredom.

I have like satellite telly, which I pay for and even that isn't enough to numb the emptiness.

I suffer from depression, currently on meds and in CBT therapy, but failing to get into a proper routine.

The only thing that motivates me is to get a better job and earn more cash so I can go on nice holidays to nice places and afford nice things. I suppose the pursuit of happiness should be about much more than money but thats the tragedy.

    Any advice?

It sounds like you're in a difficult place. Answering the phone is something you really need to be doing if you want a job, because they won't always do everything by email unfortunately. You could've already missed job offers. It sounds like you need to work on that, maybe with a support worker? It really depends on your circumstances and needs, but it's something to look into.

Try and get yourself into a proper routine. Get up at a set time every day, cut down on the alcohol, and try and find something to do during the day. Maybe try volunteering, the gym, or join some kind of club or group. Just anything to help you get out of the house and talking to people, and something to look forward to that isn't around getting another job. Keep speaking to your doctor about how you're feeling. Just because you're receiving treatment, it doesn't mean that more can't happen or things can't be changed if it's not quite working for you

Good luck with your job search!
