Why start in October
Hi! I'm a student at University of Essex, but I wonder why we start in October instead of September? A lot of universitys are starting in September, and it's like Uni Essex is worse since we start a month later...

From what I can see, it's only a week or two after a lot of other unis. It doesn't mean it's worse or anything, that's just how they have their terms planned out

Universities always used to start the first week in October. The anomaly is the drift into September.
