    I took one of the official practice tests, today, and got a 32 - is that good enough for competitive schools like Oxford and UCL (etc . . .)?

    Also, what prep books would you recommend? (I see Mark Shepherd's name a lot.)

    You know full well that's a good score. I used the 'Mastering the National Admissions Test for Law' book by Mark Shepherds. It was okay, but don't go overboard with trying to do every single practice test. Understand the different styles of questions, how to write an effective essay, and do a few practices close to your exam.
