Specialisation: is it worthy in the UK? watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm a dental student interested in pursuing a dental specialty in prosthetics or perio (MClinDent) upon the completion of my studies. I don't mind getting paid as much as a general practitioner would do. I was wondering if it's worthy though. Will I find a job to pay back my huge loans as soon as I finish my specialty? I did my own research and couldn't find any vacancies available for prosthodontists and only a few for periodontists. I'd be glad if anybody could help with this dilemma. Please specify if you are a dental student/ general dental practitioner/ specialist dentist. Thank you.
