I have around £18 or £21 on my Santander account (Yes I know i'm broke i'm trying to find a job) I really want to buy something on ebay that costs £12 so will anything happen to my account? Will the bank charge me because I would have around £5 on my account? Will I go into overdraft?

First find out the exact amount you have. You will not be charged or go into your overdraft along as you don't buy anything else that costs more that £5 or a bill is taken out of your account that is more than £5. At that point you will go into your overdraft and be charged.
