Im planning on taking HL History French and German next year.
My goal would be law at Cambridge.
I understand that i may change my mind, or not be good enough, but regarding subject choices, would it be more beneficial to have HL History French and English, OR HL History French and Philosophy

    Thank you all

It would make no difference whatsoever. There are no specific prerequisites for Law, and any academically rigorous programme would prepare equally well for it - and IB is certainly acceptable for that metric. Any subject combination in IB would be perfectly suitable.

Be aware that based on their own research, they find students who achieve 42 or above overally with at least two 7s at HL in IB have better than average chances of achieveing a 2:1 or 1st for arts courses - which is higher than the minimum stated entry requirements, and possibly a target some colleges will tend towards, interview performance notwithstanding.
