Was just wondering if universities favour any specific maths modules such as statistics for economics or is it only the actual qualification they care about?

For example if someone did Maths A-level and Further maths AS, would they benefit more from doing S1, S2, S3, S4 in their selections as opposed to only having S1? - hope that made sense.

Most universities won't specify any particular maths modules for A-Level. The S modules are probably more 'useful' in the sense that a quantitative course with modules like Econometrics will lean on some of that knowledge, but they'd likely teach on the assumption that you have little prior knowledge of the content anyway.
