Just weighed myself... need to lose some weight... Watch

    Hey Guys;

    Well, after putting off weighing myself since May (don't judge me, the scales scare me... knew I needed to lose weight whenever I looked in the mirror) I weigh 12 stone, 3 lbs and will be 23 in a month.
    Now I honestly thought I would be 13 stone looking at me but the point is, I want to lose a couple of stone (min 1.5) and was wondering if I manage to cut down on my consumption and NOT starve myself, can it be done in about 6-8 weeks?

    Want to lose the weight BEFORE going back to uni for my PGCE...

    Just realised I forgot to put in my height.
    I'm 5'7.

    That's in the area of 10 or 12kg

    probably doable, but I reckon 5kg is a more realistic & comfortable target... and still something you'd look & feel better for.

    If it's 2 stone of actual fat then it's not even remotely possible, 2 stone is 28 lbs, you'll be lucky to drop that much actual in 5 months.

    Well guys, just weighed myself again and after 2 days, lost a couple of lbs.
    Either that or I weighed myself wrong. =l

    Spent the entire day yesterday walking around London (managed 15 miles). So, here's hoping to lose a bit more in the next few days. =)

    it's pretty normal for your weight to vary by a few lbs at different times of day/days
