I am applying for an assistant sleep physiologist job with the NHS and I am struggling to put into words why I want to work in respiratory and sleep medicine. I don't want to give a superficial answer like "I find it interesting" please help !

You could say that sleep is one of the most important and essential things we do in life and without it, it can cause an array of problems such as depression, obesity, diabetes etc. So to be part of a team who help people with sleep/respiratory problems, you would get unbelievable job satisfaction and feel you would be making a difference in the world
