Failing A levels Watch

    • Thread Starter

So I just took my a levels and am waiting for the results this August 2017 but I know without a doubt that I failed one of my subjects and got a U. I think I'm going to get UDD and it's really frustrating because in GCSEs I did pretty okay and got 5As and 6Bs.
After GCSEs I moved away from my home city and did sixth form in a new town which really set me back and made me lose motivation which is my own fault entirely. It's just so frustrating to know that I was the smartest out of my friends when doing GCSEs and now they are all going to uni and I'm not.
I'm thinking about doing a btec next year for a year but I don't even think I'll do well in it because of the lack of motivation I have. I know I'm not btec standard and can do much better. Also I have no idea what I even want to study in university either. I'm thinking about nursing- which is what my btec would lead too, but I honestly cannot see myself working in that kind of environment.
I don't know what to do but any advice would be much appriciated.

Thank you!!! -stressed indervidual at 11pm at night x

You first year or finished year 13? I failed year 12 with UUUU went and did a BTEC and got D*D*D* and now in a Russell group uni which I could have never done at A-Level even if i was a decent student the grades at A-Level was AAB which I would never in achieve. BTEC is really chill and can be easily achieved just think carefully what career you wanna do that you will enjoy.
