Basically at Uni I'm the one that always suggests places to go, things to do and activities and so forth. I organise the vast majority of things that we do, only after 2nd year as someone else finally suggested something but looks like I'm going to have to organise it and get the ball going.

Do all friendship groups have one person who 'leads' the group? Cause that's what it feels like for me, that we wouldn't get anything done, it's not like I'm constantly suggesting either and so no one else get's a chance, if I don't nothing gets done or happens.

It annoys me cause it makes me think no one else wants to, even though there always over the moon when I do. Makes me feel like I'm dictating, even though I ask if anyone else has ideas.

I think it's cause I'm used to being the shy one of the group, the one that goes along with everything and since being at Uni I've ended up being the most confident one in the group, partly because I'am but partly because someone has to be.

    Anyone experience anything like this?

i can't speak for all friendship groups but I think there tends to be someone who becomes the leader in a lot of them. This is normal and it's usually the confident ones that take up that role. I don't think there is anything wrong with being the leader or the one who suggests what to do, some people tend to be lazy or out of ideas or even soft spoken and it just takes one person to wake them up so to speak.
