I am currently working at m&s part time, and over summer i was wanting to work as much as possible to get more money, and keep myself from being bored. They have had an influx of new staff from another store, so my hours have been cut and i'm only doing my contracted hours of 8. I also have a job interview for a pet shop on Friday, unsure about hours and pay with it yet. I am studying a degree in animal management, so this pet shop does very much relate to it and i can do it as placement hours as well. But then also i'm trying to do a bit of part time modelling, and i've managed to become an extra, so it's very flexible and when you do the extra work, but recently i've been getting offers for extra work everyday, i've only ever done one job and it was enjoyable, very long day but enjoyable and good money! I'm very much struggling to stay focused on one thing, and keep my head concentrated on the one thing. At m&s, i've become very close with a lot of people and we go on nights out and stuff, and i love them all. Would love some advice on what to do???!!!! Do i think about myself first? or am i taking too much on??

Why not wait until the outcome of the pet shop interview first before making any decision.

If the extra/modelling work is flexible, then you have got the opportunity to not take it up if things are too hectic.

I would do the pet shop (because it links in with your course and therefore your future), keep the M&S colleagues as friends and keep it touch but quit the job. You can still be friends without working there
