I recently completed AAT Level 4 and I'm looking to move on to ACA. FYI I work for a small company and I can't study ACA with them. I acheived 280 UCAS points at A level, worse than expected but not that bad and I got an A in Maths and English GCSE. The problem I'm having is that not many companies are willing to take AAT qualified candidates and now I regret doing AAT and not going to university. Does anyone know any good companies that accept AAT qualified students in the Bristol or Somerset area? I have checked many websites and I'm just wondering if anyone has any good recommendations or any advice? Thanks

If you have AAT level 4 some universities allow you to complete an accounting degree starting from year 3 (meaning you are exempt from years 1 and 2).

Hi. I have also completed AAT Level 4 and heard that if I apply for accounting and finance degree in Uni, I will not be eligible for Student Loan as being AAT qualified is an equivalent to 1st yr degree. I was wondering if you could confirm if this is true and maybe advise on what steps I could take as I would like to study ACCA? Thanks
