I'm on my first pack of birth control pills. Everyone except the last week are yellow pills. On my last week there white. Today I start my last week so I know I'm supposed to bleed during this week. When am I supposed to start bleeding. I take my bc at 6 everyday so will I bleed today after I take it.

You're most likely taking a combined pill that you take continuously. The reason the last week is a different colour is because they are inactive pills - they don't have any hormones in. They're only there so that you get into the habit of taking the pill every day and don't miss any. You can get types of pill which you take for 21 days and then have a week break, so they don't have the inactive pills, but with these you have to remember to stop taking the pill for 7 days and then restart on the correct day.

It will take a few days for your period to start. It can vary, but it's usually after 3 days of taking the inactive ones.

I would say you wouldnt start bleeding straight away, it may even be a couple of days into your free week that you start your period. Don't worry if your still on your period and you have to start taking your pill again. Its ok. Everybodys body reacts differently though so just be prepared. Hope this helps.
