Title really. I'd love for some advocates of Marxism to explain why they believe this ideology will be good for British society. Thanks.

Because it promotes a romantic idea of how society should be which appeals to young people because they are unaware of the technicalities of the "real" world and sadly believe it to be a possibility.

British youth isn't particularly Marxist. British society in general has always been blessedly free from Marxist influences (compared to France, Italy or even Germany). I think it was probably the least Marxist influenced country in the world - after, ofc, the US.

Because far leftist ideology offers a idealistic utopian vision but they don't take into account practical issues or spirituality which is why fat leftist ideologies are worthless and decendent both in theory and in practice. Many women will go with far leftism because all far leftists support and promote modern feminism because they want to make women as another victim group so they have another issue to be sjw's for.

Because if you don't have a proper job, or kids you want to raise and provide for, or a house, or any material possessions which you've worked hard for, then it's probably appealing.

So many = how many? You may be confusing hipster pseudo-socialists (Corbynistas) for out and out Commies (Corbynites)

I'm not entirely sure how one would perceive a violent overthrow of government as romantic. Also, it's entirely possible for a young person to look at the 'real' world and come to the conclusion that socialism is a better alternative to capitalism and develop appropriate views as a result. Beyond that, I reckon it'd be more apt to say that quite a lot of young people are actually adopting views considered 'right-wing' in contrary to what's being suggested here.

I'm not quite sure that you could refer to communists and Corbyn in the same breath. He isn't for all intents and purposes a socialist.

I was going for a more Robin Hood kinda vibe, ya know... stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Heroic and noble, perhaps. Plausible? No.

Because the nasty little oiks have never had a job and are used to having everything handed to them on a plate. The youth of today are an embarrassment to our country.

Heh not all of them but yea there's not much place for it. I think some cultures are exact opposites and I like them. Marxism - in search of total bantercraic since 1999.

There is a substantial difference betweem marxism and socialism. I and most melenials are socialists because the damage of right wing politics is plain to be seen. Yes free market and innovation can be good, but it also has to be fair.

Because we are growing up in a culture that encourages, if not fosters, entitlement and lassitude. A lot of young people feel entitled to the NHS, benefits, free education, etc., because the value of hard work and industriousness isn't being preached enough in the home and at most schools. Our peers are enchanted with the idea of high taxes for the rich to subsidise the lives of the poor (ironically, most legitimately poor people, such as the homeless and heavily disabled, don't actually benefit from this; the main beneficiaries in such a system are people who find excuses for laziness and mediocrity) and collective bargaining for more lax working conditions because those two policies, for example, would enable them to live the comfortable lives they desire without putting in the hard graft that's required. I suspect a large number of young people want a "fairer" society where others pay for their stupidity and indolence because they, themselves, want the fruits but cannot be bothered to labour—and that's the sort of mentality Marx promulgates in much of his work.
