Apparently if I update to a fiat 500 over a Vauxhall corsa, this will cost an additional £950 ontop of the current £2,100 I pay for the policy. Even though I've been on compare the market and the SAME company said £1,300 for the whole year!!! I've rang up to ask about cancellation fees. If I pay the £45 cancellation fee and obviously the non refundable box fee of £210, will it be cancelled and I won't have to pay anything else? Or is it a complete scam and I'd have to pay the remainder of the insurance ( the 8 months remaining still) can someone help please!!

If you pay the fees, yes, that is the end of the policy - you do not have to pay the rest of the term.

Please please please learn from your mistake of purchasing black box insurance. £210 is a ridiculous sum of money to get rid of the box.
